Calm

Benjamin had a calm quiet day today. Both surgeons were in and had a peak at his tummy. Its fairly red, but they both thought it looked ok..so I am happy with that. His bowels are starting to work, which is great. Today for sure there were signs of that. So feeding could start soon. Tomorrow they will most likely extubate him..I'm so excited. I think that Benjamin will be so much happier. He doesn't even flinch when they clean his incisions, but cries when he wiggles his head with that tube in. So I definitely think he'll be much more comfortable with it out. Next step is back into a crib...hopefully that will happen soon too.
