2 months

Benjamin is 2 months old today. I can hardly believe it, yet I can hardly remember life before him. He had a pretty good day. He was moved into a crib and into the front room. The front room is for kids who need less care. So that is a good thing. The surgeon was in and gave the nurses the go ahead for feeds. We watched the whole process of attaching the bag to his stoma, that was a learning experience. But tonight they stopped feeds again. He wasn't digesting after the second feed. Its hard not to panic. I'm just so worried there is still something wrong. The doctor came and talked to us and told us that it could just be a little to soon. He hasn't really eaten anything since July 1st so it will take a while for his stomach and intestines to start functioning again. He also said they will just see whats in his tummy in the morning and then start again. The surgeon will be in in the morning again so we'll see what she says. Pray that everything starts to work...we just need something to go right.
